Role and Responsibilities • Manage and service large scale data centre infrastructure and facilities to ensure 24x7 operations. • Act as owner of each facility infrastructure, provide day-to-day operations and support including general repairs, facilities maintenance and site inspection that include mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire suppression, alarm monitoring, furniture, and security access control. • Work with engineers 24x7 to analyze problems, perform troubleshooting and incident response on the system, communicate with related team and track problems. • Document and update all requests accurately on the internal Web Portal ticketing system including user requests, incidents, provisioning and ensure ITIL compliance conformance for incident, problem and change management. • Plan and support all preventive and corrective maintenance activities with no disruption to company's services. • Participate and support internal and external audits for internal stakeholders and customers. • Coordinate and provide support to contractors and vendors as well as inspecting completed work. • Generate accurate and regular reports as per assigned. • Ensure effective implementations of safety, security and customer support policy and procedures. • Monitoring and managed Data Center facilities to ensure that all Data Center services are met. • Develop all policies, SOP, MOP, and Emergency Operating Procedures for each critical system. • Assist the manager with the implement service improvement programs. • Performed any other tasks as per assigned. Qualifications and Education Requirements • Education: Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or related field • Experience: 1-3 years of relevant work experience in Data Center or facility operations environment, building services, mechanical engineering Preferred Skills • Possess relevant facilities management and/or data centre related certifications, such as ITIL, CDCP, CDCS, etc. • Familiar with certifications standards, such as LEED Gold, ISO 20000 / 22301 / 27001, Uptime Institute Tier III, etc. • General knowledge of HVAC, Electrical Power, fire suppression, security, etc. • Understanding of datacenter best practices (hot isle/cold isle cabinet placement, power distribution, network cabling, etc.) • Knowledge of technical support of Electrical system based on Datacenter infrastructure
