The British Dispensary Co., Ltd., is one of the oldest company in Thailand. Established in 1892 as a retail pharmacy, the Company also markets many ranges of household medicines under the now familiar Arrow-Struck Snake Trademark. Since then, the Company has expanded its activities from those of importing of pharmaceutical and cosmetic products to include nationwide marketing and distribution network, that covered not only for pharmaceutical and healthfood products, but also for personal care products as well. Finally, in 1998, the Company has merged its operation with a subsidiary company that has a manufacturing unit to become The British Dispensary (L.P.) Co., Ltd.
